Pulled BBQ Chicken

When I find a recipe that is a HUGE hit with my teenage boys (that includes the hubby), I have to share it with you as soon as possible. This past weekend I decided to make my Pulled BBQ Chicken using my slow cooker, and it was gone within ONE day. That is how I know the recipe is a keeper and one to share with you. I personally love this recipe because it is super easy and a healthier version than pulled pork since organic chicken is a better food choice. I also used the slow cooker- it is one of those meals you start in the morning and have a healthy dinner when you arrive home (and it also is a win when teenagers are hungry when you are not home and they need to make something to eat).

I personally used a certified organic BBQ sauce to remove harmful ingredients. You can of course use your own homemade BBQ sauce, but I do not advise using a non-organic conventional kind. Let me know what your family thinks about this winner! You can serve this with a healthy sprouted grain or homemade bread, or try it on top of a healthy salad. There is no need to take the pulled BBQ chicken and serve it with unhealthy garnishes or foods. To keep up the health factor, think healthy meals!
