Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip

in Rocking Recipes, Snacks

This is one of my family’s favorite snacks. My kids love the taste, and I love how healthy it is. The chick peas and nut butter loads this snack with healthy protein. Make no mistake about it, this recipe will fill you up. We love it with sliced apples or celery, but you can dip any healthy veggie or fruit. As in my Kind Gut™ program guidelines, dipping a healthy veggie or fruit with this dip meets my “eat a good carbohydrate with a good protein at every meal rule”, so enjoy this snack!

I use certified organic chick peas in can or bag and nut butter to keep out pesticides,  harmful fats (in nut butter) and chemicals in the can. I also buy non-GMO mini chocolate chips such as this brand here,  maple syrup here  and this organic vanilla here. Choosing certified organic and non-GMO ingredients removes many harmful chemicals in foods today, making a recipe healthier than if you did not.
