Orangeade Sports Drink

The health benefits of a homemade Sports Drink outweighs the toxic conventional Sports Drinks on the market today. Making your own is actually very easy to do. The electrolyte source is Pink Himalayan Sea Salt which is a natural salt packed with over 80 trace minerals. I love this one here. I also don’t typically sweeten our homemade soft drinks since I use 100% fruit juice which is sweet enough, but if you feel you need to try using certified organic 100% maple syrup or a raw honey (don’t give to kids under the age of one) like these, but getting them local if you can is best.

If you want to learn more about the harmful ingredients in your sports drinks, read my blog article Are Your Sports Drinks Healthy here.  Stop drinking and giving your children harmful conventional sports drinks right away. Instead make this easy and healthier recipes. I also make sure my family’s sports drinks are in safe water bottles. Plastics leach petroleum which can disrupt hormones like estrogen in the body. My favorite one is this one here, but my kids like this one.  I even make sure I store our homemade sports drink in a sealed pitcher.
